WILL YOUR CAPSULES WORK WITH MY NESPRESSO MACHINE?

We rigorously test every production batch with all Nespresso Machines for consistency and functionality. Our quality team assurance verifies that each capsule reaches the highest level of compatibility, freshness, and aromas prior to packaging and shipment to our customers. However, because we cannot test each one individually, we offer a money back guarantee for your piece of mind. Please see below for more details.

What machines are Lavica Capsules compatible with?

Our capsules were professionally and carefully manufactured to be compatible with the following Nespresso brand machines: Citiz, Essenza, Maestria, U, Le Cube, Inissia, Latissima Plus and Pixie. Lavica Capsules are NOT compatible with the Nespresso VirtuoLine or any commercial grade espresso machine.

Will Lavica capsules damage my machine?

Our capsules have been rigorously tested in all compatible Nespresso machines for consistency and compatibility. Lavica capsules will not damage your machine. If a Nespresso machine experiences problems it is unlikely to have been caused by Nespresso compatible capsules. Try the following recommendations:

  • De-scale your Nespresso machine. This is important to remove all calcium buildup which may block and should be done according to the Manu facturer’s recommendations. This is the number 1 reason why a machine will not function properly
  • Make sure the capsule is loaded the right way. Take the time to make sure the capsule has been dropped in properly and was not forced in too much. On some models, you might need to ever-so-lightly push our capsules into place. Lever is harder to close. It might happen that you will need to apply a little bit more pressure to close your lever. This is completely normal with ALL Nespresso compatible coffee capsules since the gripping mechanism works differently with aluminum (found in Nespresso) compared to all other brands. This will never lead to damage to your machine’s mechanism.

This is my first time buying, what do I do?

If this is your first time, welcome! You will be asked to register by picking a username and password and filling out some basic information. This is to ensure a smooth and flawless shopping experience. What’s more, when you register at Lavica.com, you are automatically enrolled in our club where you save 10% off your first purchase, and 5% off every subsequent purchase. Are your capsules Fair Trade, Vegan, and/or Kosher?

Our capsules are Kosher certified through KF Kashrus which is UK’s eminent Kosher Certification Agency. We are currently working on getting Fair Trade for our capsules. Technically speaking, all coffee is vegan.

How much caffeine is in each Lavica Espresso Coffee Capsule?

One of the greatest misconceptions out there with Espresso drinkers is that intensity is related to the caffeine content. The intensity of a coffee is determined by the degree of roasting, its body and its bitterness.

Payments

What payment options do I have?

We accept PayPal, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover Card. You need a valid Canadian/US Billing Address. We charge your card as soon as the order is placed, and ship the item as soon as possible. Lavica.com cannot store any credit card information and every transaction is processed through a secured server.

What if I do not have a Paypal Account?

If you do not have a PayPal account, you can pay directly through our site with your Visa or MasterCard. Or, you can choose the PayPal option, enter your shipping information and click "PayPal". You will then be asked to log in to your PayPal account or to choose "Don’t have a PayPal account?" where you can create an account and pay with your debit or credit card. It’s that easy!

ONCE I HAVE placeD my order, how do I check ITS status?

Once you place an order, a confirmation email will be sent out to you. Shortly after, you will receive an email confirming your order has been shipped. Simply log into your account to verify the status of your order

Is there a way of cancelling my order?

Unfortunately, once an order has been placed, there is no way of changing or cancelling it.

How does Lavica ship and how long does it take to receive a shipment?

Do you ship outside of Canada?

YES! Although Lavica.com was launched as a Canadian based company catering exclusively to Canadians, the demand from our American neighbors has grown exponentially. We offer UPS standard shipping with a flat fee of $4.99 to anywhere in the US.

Returns

How do I return an Item?

Before returning an item, you will need a Return Authorization Number or RA Number. Before applying for a RA # you need to read our return policy carefully and see if you qualify for one. But either way, you can always contact us at support@cafelavica.zendesk.com and we will gladly help you.

First you need to like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter to enter our contests.
